Following my interview Monday with Zeno Mangum and Brenda Rankin concerning the pending parole of James Williams III who killed Zeno’s mother and stepfather, I just about could not handle the heartbreak.  I’ve known Zeno and Brenda their whole life.  The depth of their despair was evident in their eyes.  Who even thought Zeno and Brenda would be facing a possibility of parole for a man serving two life sentences?

Zeno and Brenda (Cindy’s sister) are scheduled for a zoom call with the Parole Board Tuesday at 2:30 PM.  They have no idea what if anything can be done.

This is an opportunity to reach out and support this family.
