Christmas break is off to a good start for Conner Gibson.
Wednesday, Conner killed a spike. he was hunting with his father. They had given up for the day and were walking out along a ridge and saw some scrapes. Conner said he heard something and they saw two does walking down a ridge across from them. Conner said hey there’s a buck and it was walking quickly toward the does. He put his sights on it and laid it down at 50 yards through a thicket.
Conner is a student at Mize Attendance Center and is the son of Hubert and Kathy Gibson.
