Congressman Michael Guest on his Subcommittee Leadership Appointment on the Committee on Homeland Security
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Michael Guest (R-Miss) announces his continued service on the Committee on Homeland Security and his appointment to serve as the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Border Security and Enforcement.
Congressman Guest issued the following statement: “I am honored to continue working alongside fellow Members to secure our border and protect our communities. In the 118th Congress, I was proud to lead the charge as Vice Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security to push back against the failed border policies of the Biden-Harris Administration. With President Trump soon to be in office, I stand ready to work alongside the President to secure our border.
“President Trump has been clear that the most important issue facing our nation is border security. As the chairman of the Subcommittee on Border Security and Enforcement in the 119th Congress, I will work with President Trump and Border Czar Tom Homan to secure our border and to protect our communities. I am honored to serve in this capacity and to have the opportunity to lead the Committee on Homeland Security and the Republican Conference on this important legislative work,” said Congressman Guest.”
