Dalton Cockrell, a freshman on the Magee High School Trojan baseball team, was the winning pitcher in the deciding game three of the first round of the playoffs against Lawrence County.
The team won Tuesday night in the first of a three game series for the south state title.
Dalton has had an awesome year on the mound.
