Copiah Lincoln Community College held a Leadership Summit on the Simpson Campus Friday, March 31, 2023.

Dr. Dewayne Middleton, Dr. Anika Floyd and Dr. Allison Duckworth

Students from Magee High School, Simpson County Academy, Mendenhall High School, Mt. Olive High School, Lawrence County High School, and Prentiss Christian attended the summit.

Leadership students

Students from each high school participating in Student Council and Leadership roles were invited to the event.

The event opened with welcome and prayer and a message from the keynote speaker. After the open assembly the students would break out into three sessions to hear presenters about Leadership Development, Professionalism, and Team Building. The presenters were Mrs. Beverly Barnes, Mr. Bradley Powell, Mr. Shawn Herp, Mr. Skip Russell, Mr. Paul Barnard, and Donna McLean.
