Co-Lin announces plans for May 2021 graduation ceremonies

            WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College Spring 2021 commencement ceremonies will be held May 11 on the Wesson Campus, May 12 at the Simpson County Center, and May 13 on the Natchez Campus. The following details have been announced for each commencement ceremony:

WESSON CAMPUS

  • Spring Commencement will be held Tuesday, May 11 on the Wesson Campus.
  • Two commencement ceremonies will be held for Spring 2021 graduates.
  • Graduates with last names A-J will participate in the 9:30 a.m. ceremony and last names K-Z will participate in the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
  • To ensure social distancing, TWO guests per graduate will be allowed at the commencement ceremony. Tickets will be given out at graduation rehearsal. Only graduates, selected Co-Lin staff and ticket holders will be allowed inside Mullen Gymnasium during commencement. Graduates will be provided with a Co-Lin face mask to wear as they enter the gymnasium. Masks are MANDATORY for all graduates, staff members and guests present.
  • The ceremonies will be streamed LIVE at www.colin.edu and on Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Facebook page for family and friends to view.
  • There will be a MANDATORY rehearsal for graduation on Friday, April 30, at 11 a.m. in Rea Auditorium. Graduates will pick up their cap, gown and their TWO tickets for their guests to attend the ceremony.

SIMPSON COUNTY CENTER

  • Spring Commencement will be held Wednesday, May 12 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boswell Regional Center in Magee.
  • To ensure social distancing, TWO guests per student will be allowed at the commencement ceremony. Tickets will be given out at graduation rehearsal. Only graduates, selected Co-Lin staff and ticket holders will be allowed inside Boswell Regional Center during commencement. Graduates will be provided with a Co-Lin face mask to wear as they enter the center. Masks are MANDATORY for all graduates, staff members and guests present.
  • The ceremony will be streamed LIVE on Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Facebook page for family and friends to watch.
  • There will be a MANDATORY rehearsal for graduation on Friday, April 30, at 10 a.m. at the Sidney Parker Academic Building. Graduates will pick up their cap, gown and their TWO tickets for their guests to attend the ceremony.

NATCHEZ CAMPUS

  • Spring Commencement will be held Thursday, May 13 at 1 p.m. at the Natchez Convention Center.
  • To ensure social distancing, TWO guests per student will be allowed at the commencement ceremony. Tickets will be given out at graduation rehearsal. Only graduates, selected Co-Lin staff and ticket holders will be allowed inside the Natchez Convention Center during commencement. Graduates will be provided with a Co-Lin face mask to wear as they enter the convention center. Masks are MANDATORY for all graduates, staff members and guests present.
  • The ceremony will be streamed LIVE on Copiah-Lincoln Community College’s Facebook page for family and friends to watch.
  • There will be a MANDATORY rehearsal for graduation on Friday, April 30, at 1 p.m. in Multipurpose Room located in the Redd-Watkins Career-Technical Building. Graduates will pick up their cap, gown and their TWO tickets for their guests to attend the ceremony.
