Clarsie Velma Thompson, 87, of D Lo, passed from this life Sunday, January 31, 2016 at River Oaks Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Beth Feisel will officiate. Burial will be in Bullock Cemetery in Sanford, MS. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall in Mendenhall.
She is Survived by Daughters, Shirley Berry, Gladys Pettigrew, Janice Kay (Donald); Brother – M.L. Hudson, Sister – Sallie Edwards (George); six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Richard “Buddy” Hudson and Mary Jane Hudson; Husband L.D. Thompson and ten brother and sisters.
