The City of Magee is under a boil water notice until Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
The pumping station froze Friday night causing pressure loss.
Anytime there is pressure loss a boil notice is issued until a sample can be approved by the health department. Due to the holidays the health department is closed until Tuesday and sample can not be approved until that time.
Any water consumption within the city should be boiled between now and Tuesday for precaution.
