The City of Magee Board of Aldermen approved hiring two employees for the city at the Tuesday night, February 1, 2022 meeting.
T. Austin Brown was hired part-time as an Information Technology Director at 20 hours a week. Austin will update and maintain the City of Magee website as well as Facebook page in addition to other tech issues. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University.
Victoria Lawson was hired as part time dispatcher with the Magee Police Department under recommendation of Chief Chris Jones. Vicki has worked as a dispatcher with the Flowood Police Department as well as other agencies.
