I love the Christmas Season…the lights…the colors…the decorations…and of course the true meaning of Christmas.  I enjoy checking out decorations in and around Magee.  If you know of any houses I need to visit, please let me know!  I make my usual rounds but I always know there are some I am missing.

High Five to Dairy Queen for their fabulous holiday decorations.  Ya’ll are shinning on highway 49 and by doing so…make Magee look even better!

Lee and Kim Maddox have “plugged” in the lights and are ready for everyone to take a spin in front of their home.  Located on highway 541 pass Gregory Cemetery, the Maddox home is a sea of lights and mechanical wonders.  Lee and Kim’s house is a great place to sneak a Christmas photo. The physical address is 2109 Hwy 541 North Mendenhall, MS 39114.  If you get to New Bethlehem Church…you’ve gone too far…located on the right.

Special prayers for Mrs. Joyce McNair who suffered a stroke last weekend.  She is in Acute Rehab, North MS Medical Center.  Joyce is rehabbing and doing well…just needs guidance as she gets well!  Please send her a card. ( Acute Rehab, North MS Medical Center, Room 182, 830 South Gloster, Tupelo, MS 38801)

Terrell Luckey’s mother, Mrs. Mary Jean Sullivan, also suffered a stroke last week.  She is in St. D.

Continued prayers:  Janine Blackwell (Marjorie Buffinton’s daughter-in-law); Pam Walley; J. M. Shows, Becky Jo Crout’s dad; Connie Magee; Lequita Floyd; our churches; our schools; our city and state….let’s just wrap everyone in prayer.

Don’t forget the D’Lo Christmas parade has been canceled for Saturday, December 3rd due to a forecast of rain.  The parade will be Saturday, December 10th at 4.

Magee’s Christmas Parade is Tuesday, December 6th and Mendenhall’s Christmas Parade is Thursday, December 8th.

Have a blessed weekend.
