Christine Thompson Batton, 83, of Mendenhall, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, She was born Tuesday, January 23, 1934.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 6, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Mendenhall.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 6, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Mendenhall. Burial will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church . Bro. Ted Bowlin will officiate.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle R Batton, Daughter, Cheryl E Scott, Grandaughter, Jamie Greene.
Survivors include her sons, Ronald G. Batton (Nancy), Mendenhall, and Dwight S Batton (Ruby), Mendenhall, Daughter – Kymble R Audiffred (Michael) D Lo, 10 Grandchildren, 18 Great-grandchildren, 6 Great-great-grandchildren
