Chris Herbert Byrd, Sr., 81, of Flowood, Mississippi, passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at his home in Flowood, Mississippi. He was born Saturday, September 16, 1939.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Waco Fairmont Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.

He was preceded in death by parents, W.L. and Rachel Byrd.

Survivors include his son, Chris Byrd, Jr.; daughter, Teresa Renkenberger; grandchildren, Carley Renkenberger and Carter Renkenberger; brother, Charles Byrd; and host of nieces and nephews.
