The Bicentennial is only a week away! Everything kicks off on Saturday, April 13th with the parade beginning at 10 AM. Most all event of the day will be centered around the newly renovated Community House (Located near First Baptist Church in downtown Magee)
Linda Bennett and Havard McDonald joined me for a sit down for a recap of the events for the 13th.
Following the parade, The Decade of Champions is scheduled to begin in the Community House with overflow in the Civic Center. Alyson Berch is in charge of the Decade if Champions. “It is still not too late to join the fun.” Alyson is seeking championship teams from the past. Bring your memorabilia…scrapbooks…school jackets, blankets, etc for display
Linda Bennett is in charge of the Chicken Show! Several years ago, Linda sponsored a Chicken Show for Crazy Day. The show was a huge hit! Bring your chickens…prizes will be awarded.
