Charles L. Canoy of  Florence

( June 27, 1945 – August 28, 2018 )

Charles L. Canoy of Florence, (73) passed away Tuesday at Wisteria Gardens in Pearl. He was born Wednesday, June 27, 1945.

Visitation for Charles L. Canoy of Florence  will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.

Funeral Services for Charles L. Canoy of Florence  will be held Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Coat Baptist Church in Magee. The Burial will follow in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Bro. Milton Koon, Bro. Bill Blair, and Bro. Donnie Guy will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.

He was preceded in death by his parents, JC Canoy and Audell Canoy; brother, Durwood Canoy (Jean).

Survivors include his wife, Deloris Canoy; son, Lance Canoy; sisters, Gwen Yarber (Ben), Ruby Meadows, and Linda Canoy; brother, Rockey Canoy (Janice); sister-in-law, Dianne Koon (Milton); brother-in-law, Mike Smith (Tammy); a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Clint Burke, Jacob Canoy, Richie Hudson, Drew Pendergrass, Hunter Smith, Jared Smith, Jay Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cole Pendergrass, Mason Smith, Trip Smith, James Barr, Easton Parker Adair, and Jackson Smith.
