Charities Filing Update: S.B. 2077

JACKSON, Miss – Beginning July 1, 2023, per Senate Bill 2077 passed during the 2023 Legislative Session, the new filing threshold for audit requirements has been increased to $750,000 in monetary donations. The previous threshold for filing an audited financial statement was $500,000 in contributions. The audit should be prepared using the cash basis measurement.
