Cecil Douglas McLendon, 56, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.

He was born on May 5, 1959, to his parents, the (late) William Cecil McLendon and Betty Grayson McLendon in Magee. He was a retired seismographer in the oilfield industry.

Doug is survived by his mother, Betty Lou McLendon; two sisters, Debbie McLendon, Michelle Knighten (Marty), along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Cecil McLendon; son, William Taylor McLendon; sisters, Cindy McLendon Mangum and Brenda McLendon Patterson.

Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, April 11, 2016, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Jaynesville Rd, Mt. Olive, MS.  Bro. Gary Meadows will officiate.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
