The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Psalm 55:22: “Cast your cares on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall.” The psalmist is praising the Lord to one and all, proclaiming that He is the source of all strength and protection. God is the gentle Shepherd, yet, He is all-powerful and watchful over His sheep. The psalmist feels safe and secure and never fears for his safety. We, too, can have that same calm assurance when we put our trust in God and follow His precepts. Trust and obedience are essential. As we go about our day, let’s be willing to share love, joy, and kindness with all those with whom we come in contact. It’s pleasing to God, our Lord and Savior, because He so abundantly shares the same with us, His children.
