Carolyn Jean Kennedy, age 75, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall. She was born on September 23, 1946, to George Warren Booth and Johnnie Ruth (Davis) Booth.

She was a loving and caring person who loved taking care of and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a kind and generous person who would always put the needs of everyone before her own.

She is survived by her husband, George T. Kennedy; daughter, Kim Sullivan (Ron); sister, Ann Booth McKee; five grandchildren, Hayden Wadlington, Hallie Wadlington, Maci Wadlington, Madelynn Wadlington and Jordan Sullivan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Johnnie Booth; sons, Terrell Kennedy, Nicky Kennedy; brothers, James Booth, Glenn Booth and sister, Janice Booth Ainsworth.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Tutor Chapel with Bro. Jonathan Burnham and Bro. David Hayes officiating. Interment will be at Dry Creek Cemetery in Mendenhall, MS.

Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
