Carol Ann Bowen passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the age of 71.
She was born on March 29, 1945, to her parents, the late Elzie Lorraine and Mittle (Amason) Sellers in Magee, MS.
Carol is survived by her son, Jason Bowen (Kim); daughters, Doris Jean Whittinghill (Jay), Lorine Bowen Ainsworth and Melissa Bowen Starita (Kenny); sisters, Helen Hamilton (Gus), Jerrie Martin (Ronnie) and Jean Jones (Jamie); twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Henry Bowen, brother, Charles Ray “Sam” Sellers and sister, Doris Thomas.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at Christian Life Church in Magee. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m at Christian Life Church with Bro. J.R. McIntyre officiating. There will also be a visitation from 9-11 a.m. prior to the service.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
