Brayden Sawyer Kennedy is the 17 year old son of Brian C. & Audra Kennedy of Magee, MS. He is the grandson of Shelby & Barbara Colson, and Bobbie Kennedy and the late Jim Kennedy, all of Magee, MS. Brayden is the fantastical big brother to Sadie Kate & Carter. Graduating with honors from Kennedy Family Homeschool, Brayden excelled in & obtained high honors in Forestry & Agriculture.
Brayden is a member of Boy Scout Troop 81 and has achieved Eagle Scout rank. He is also a member of The Order of the Arrow; Simpson County 4H; and the Gerard C. Brandon Society of the Children of the American Revolution. Brayden is an active Youth member of Dry Creek Baptist Church.
Along with completing high school with honors & achieving Eagle Scout rank, during his Junior & Senior years Brayden has held an extremely demanding full-time job as a heavy equipment operator with the logging company, Colson Timber. Brayden is the youngest crew member, but has achieved high status within this logging crew for exceptional work ethic & exemplary leadership skills.
For fun, Brayden enjoys being with friends & family, high-riding in his Chevy truck, hunting & camping, watching reruns of “Little House on the Prairie”, and reading “Southern Loggin’ Times” & the “Mississippi Market Bulletin”.
Brayden’s future goals include following his dad into the Mississippi Air National Guard; then, using his grandfather’s, uncles’, & cousin’s examples, make his own path into “the woods” by attaining a Forestry & Agricultural Degree from Mississippi State University.
