WESSON, Miss. – Wolf Hollow, Co-Lin’s on-campus 18-hole golf course, driving range, and facility, has new leadership in Bradley Boykin. As Director of Golf Operations Boykin, a 2010 Co-Lin graduate, is responsible for functional management of the course and practice areas, management of the Alton Greenlee Golf Clubhouse, and coordination of golf activities. Boykin follows Ronny Ross who served in the capacity for 17 years.

“To come back and work for your alma mater is very special,” said Boykin.  “It was an opportunity that I couldn’t turn down.”

Boykin was heavily involved on campus as a student. He was a member of the yearbook staff, president of the Trailblazers, Co-Lin’s student recruiter organization, and was named Mr. Co-Lin. Boykin also played on the Co-Lin golf team under Ross from 2008 to 2010 where he was a member of the 2009 MACJC DII State Championship team.

“My two years at Co-Lin were very important to me,” Boykin said. “To be involved with this institution is something that I’m very excited about.”

After Co-Lin, Boykin continued his education at Mississippi State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business/marketing. He also has experience in all realms of golf operations including stents in maintenance at Okatoma Golf Course, sales at the Mississippi State University Golf Course, and general management and course superintendent at Demopolis Country Club in Demopolis, Ala.

Boykin has already spent several days on campus getting to know the members of Wolf Hollow and working hard to be prepared for his official start date of November 8, 2018.

“I want to take what’s already there and continue to improve it,” said Boykin. “I’m thrilled to be back and I’m looking forward to making Wolf Hollow a premier golf course in Southwest Mississippi.”
Wolf Hollow is opened daily from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information on the course, prices, or to schedule tee times, please call 601.643.8379.

Bradley is a graduate of Magee High School and the son of Gregg and Patrice Boykin of Magee.
