Students from SCTC Construction/Carpentry & Metal Fabrication programs had the pleasure to tour FL Crane & Son’s Saucier, MS Off-Site Construction shop. Michael Howarth walked the students through the process of making and transporting pre-fabricated wall systems to building sites. Students were able to see actual workers and the jobs they do! In addition, they learned that jobs are available upon graduation from high school with pay well over the minimum wage. If employed, workers receive on-the-job training with opportunities for advancement in the company.
