County Engineer Buddy Wolverton presented the Status of State-Aid & LSBP Projects.

Road manager Ben Warren discussed the difficulties in finding good used equipment.  The county crew is continuing clean up from the ice storm. Three individuals were presented and approved for hire in the County Road crew:  Anthony Floyd (has his CDL)-$13.78 per hour; Clayton Sistrunk-$12.78 per hour; and Ricky Shoemake -$12.78 per hour.

The engine in a packer burned up.  Warren has not been able to find a used engine but continues to look.

A heated discussion took place between Supervisors Mitchell Chapman and Brian Kennedy.  The problem seemed to be a question concerning the halting of road work in Chapman’s district near Kennedy’s home.
