Magee Board of Alderman decided at their scheduled meeting, Tuesday, October 3, 2017 to observe Saturday, October 28, 2017, as the date for Trick or Treating in the city of Magee. This year Treat Street will immediately follow Crazy Day which is October 28th. Treat Street will be located down town Magee in the alley behind the Library and Community House. The city has asked that all trick or treating be completed by 9 pm.

The city is asking for help in completing the Veteran’s Board located inside City Hall. Anyone can come by City Hall add a photo, article, or some other information about a Veteran from our area to the board. The board will be on display for the public during Crazy Day and again during the Veteran’s Day Parade. Help the city honor our local Veterans!

The city is entertaining the idea of increasing rates on water bills. Presently, prices are being gathered from surrounding systems to see what flat rate charges are for area systems. The city is looking at a $.10 increase, which would run approximately $3.00 per user a month.
