Bennie Mae Bryant, 86, of Mize, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday September 11, 2019 at her home in Mize, Mississippi. She was born Friday, April 28, 1933.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Union Baptist Church in Raleigh, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Union Baptist Church in Raleigh. The Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Max Price and Bro. David Hays will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.

Mrs. Bennie Mae loved her family and friends and she especially loved taking care of children. Mrs. Bryant was a fifty year member of Union Baptist Church and a seamstress, fisherwoman, avid gardener and chef.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Bryant; parents, RD and Nola Brown; daughters, Bonnie Bryant and Patricia Bryant; brothers, JB Brown and Earl Brown; son-in-laws, Don Bounds and Larry Currie.

Survivors include her children, Betty Currie, William Bryant (Rhonda), Cynthia Smith (Arnold), Jimmy Bryant (Sue), John Bryant (Nancy), Helen Bounds (Rick), Lynn Bounds (Michael), and Regina Hutson (Bart); brothers, Dwight Brown and Wilburn Brown; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Josh Currie, Michael Bryant, Wayne Bryant, Brian Bounds, Kaden Bryant, Scott Bryant, Trevor Williams, Seth Reeves, Brandon Bryant, Sammy Bryant, Justin Walley, Colby Phillips, and Heath Walley.
