The Scriptural passage for today is found in Titus 2:2: “Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.” Okay, older men, this is directed toward those of us who fit into the category of “older.” We are told to be temperate (not given to over-indulgence of any kind), worthy of respect, self-controlled, sound in faith, sound in love, and sound in endurance. Are we? Time to do a self-evaluation and self-assessment. If we are honest, most of us still have work to do. In the final analysis, let it be said of us that we are strong in all aspects. Amen!
