The Scriptural passage for today is found in Ephesians 4:2: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” God asks us, as His children, to maintain a spirit of humility, gentleness, love, and patience. Also, in Philippians 4:5, we’re told, “Let your gentleness be evident to all, because the Lord is near.” Jesus is our supreme example as reflected in God’s Word, where a running commentary is given us on the life He lived while on earth. He possessed all those attributes. If we’re to please God, we, too, should strive to make them a part of our daily living. Get out your mirrors. Time to do a self-assessment. How do we rate? Be honest.
Kindness is so important, especially in a world where it’s in such short supply. I hope we’ll all share and spread the kindness, the love, and joy we all have within us, and liberally sprinkle every day with each. Happy Tuesday!
