Yogi Berra,90,who won 10 World Series Championships as a player with the New York Yankees and served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II, has died. Berra died Tuesday night.
He played almost his entire 19-year baseball career (1946–65) for the New York Yankees. He is widely regarded as one of the best catchers in baseball history.[2] He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972.
Yogi quit school in the 8th grade. He is also famous for many of his quotes.
