Alvin D. Myers Jr., known to many as Buggy, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2022. He was born on December 26, 1958, to Alvin Myers Sr. and Rachel (Bullock) Myers.
He is survived by his wife, Marie (Holmes) Myers; son, Christopher Myers; daughter, Stacey Birdsong (Gavin); brother, James Myers (Carla); sisters, Angela Welch, Lucretia Myers and Melissa Dunaway (Chris).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Myers Jr. and Rachel Myers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at First Pentecostal Church, 45024 Hwy 28, Georgetown, MS, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, at First Pentecostal Church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor John Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Pinola, MS.
Arrangements are entrusted to Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
