Marcus C. Allen III and Landon McKennie both of Mendenhall served as Mississippi  Senate pages.  The two young men were sponsored by Senator Angela Turner-Ford and Senator Chris Caughman.

Pages generally run errand for officials and Senate staff.

Marcus is the son of KaWanda Allen and attends Mendenhall Junior High.  When asked about the week, Marcus said, “I am glad to be a page this year.  It was very fun and I got to meet some new friends.”

Landon is the son of Shenika McKennie and attends Mendenhall Junior High.  When asked about the week, Landon said, “I learned how to be a new page at the Capitol in Jackson.  I also learned from another page who has paged before, Marcus Allen.”
