The family of Tommy Everett has requested that all retired Magee Volunteer Firemen sit with the Active Fire Department at the funeral of Mr. Everett on Sunday. Please be at FBC by 1:45.The funeral begins at 2 PM.
Tommy joined the Magee Volunteer Fire Department in 1950 and served as an active member until 1998. He was the longest serving member in the history of the fire department, which he led as chief from 1978-1998.
Please, the family is very interested in having former retired firemen as well as active firemen serve as honorary pallbearers.
