Alice Myrl Cook, 90 of Mendenhall, MS passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 in Magee, MS. She was born on December 18, 1935.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, MS. A graveside service will be held on June 17, 2026 at 10:30 AM in Oak Grove Cemetery in Mendenhall, MS. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Earl Cook; parents, Noah Boykin Barnett and Lola Blair Barnett; brothers, P.B Barnett, A.W Barnett, and Doc Barnett; and sister, Nola Barnett Shirley.
She is survived by her sons, Johnny Ray Cook (Sherry), Henry Douglas Cook (Jonie), Jerry Anthony Cook (Cindy), Tony Randall Cook, and Noah Dwayne Cook (Laura); grandkids and great grandkids; and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Austin Smith, Joseph Barnes, James Carter, White Bonner, Jeremy Fuller, and Randy Turner.
