Albert W. Vincent, 91, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in Raleigh, MS. He was born to Ralph Vincent and Ethel Vincent on May 2, 1931, in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin.
He served in the United States Marine Corps for over twenty-seven years where he was a Master Gunnery Sergeant. He also served two tours in Vietnam. He was involved in many local and civic organizations that he enjoyed being a member of such as Memphis TN Masonic Lodge Park Avenue #362, The Wahabi Shriners International, and Jim Beam Bottle Club.
Albert loved traveling and seeing the country. He enjoyed cruises and went on too many to count. Many of his excursions included Alaska, Russia, Spain…. and many more. He and Ollie also enjoyed snowboarding in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, Albert’s childhood home.
He is survived by his partner of twenty-five years, Ollie Johnson; sister, Doris Huck; granddaughter, Brandy Marshall, great-granddaughter, Addison Marshall along with nieces, nephews and friends that he’s met during his lifetime.
He was preceded in death by his wife of forty-seven years, Virginia; son, Albert W. Vincent, Jr.; daughters, Betty Carol Carter, Frankie Duke; sisters, Almina Miller, Ruby Roberts and granddaughter, Angela Hill.
The family wishes to thank Trudy Compton for all her compassion and loving care given to our loved one during the last several years. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS at 4:00 pm with visitation from 3:00 pm until service time. Bro. Tim Reed will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Memphis, TN.
