Adam Jeffrey Hancock, 41, of Missoula, Montana, passed from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born Saturday, September 15, 1979, in Flowood, Mississippi.
  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi.
  A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Cemetery. Bro. Timothy Beard will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. (601) 785-6564
 Adam was a member of Taylorsville United Methodist Church. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a 1998 graduate of Taylorsville High School. He obtained his Associate Degree from Jones County Junior College. He continued his education at the University of Southern Mississippi and to Mississippi College. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle in the mountains and enjoying the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie Oree Hancock, Sr. and Charlene Ainsworth Hancock; D.L. Massengale and Joyce Massengale.
  Survivors include his loving parents, Willie Oree (Snooky) Hancock, Jr. and Gwen Massengale Hancock of Taylorsville; one sister, Angela Hancock Young and husband, Jason of Madison; one niece, Ava Young; one nephew, Breckon Young; and a host of other family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be his family and friends.
