Adam (Cooney) Michael Vanderford, 36, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born Tuesday, November 20, 1984.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Galiee Baptist Church in Mendenhall.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Galilee Baptist Church in Mendenhall. The Burial will follow in Galiee Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Marcus Burnham and Robert Swofford will officiate.

Since a 2005 car accident which resulted in a brain injury, Adam (Cooney) lived with his family. Prior to the accident, Adam (Cooney) enjoyed riding four wheelers and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Johnny Harold and Geraldine Lyons; uncle, Jerry Lyons; grandmother, Charleen Vanderford.

Survivors include his parents, Douglas and Sandy Vanderford; brother, Justin Vanderford and wife Katrina; nephew, Bennett Vanderford; niece, Heidi Vanderford; grandfather, Cletes Vanderford; uncle and aunt; LQ and wife Kathleen; uncle and aunt, Don and wife Beverly Lyons; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Chris Ebelhar, Daniel Kelly, Wesley Stewart, Brandon Sullivan, David Pugh, and Justin Vanderford
