The April 6, 2021 election filled several positions in the City of Magee government, but caused a run off for Ward 2 Alderman.

Mayor Dale Berry was re-elected to 4 year term as the head of our city.

Matthew Hickman & Beth Moore in a run off for Alderman Ward 2

Lane Steele—Alderman Ward 3

Patrick Brown—Alderman Ward 4.

The Hickman and Moore outcome will be decided Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

Hickman led the Ward 2 ticket with 46 votes followed by Moore with 35 votes.

Low voter turn out could be a deciding factor in the election

Absentee Voting began Monday, April 12, 2021.  Votes may be cast at the Magee City Hall during the hours of 8-5 Monday through Monday, April 26, 2021.  City Hall will be open Saturday, April 24, 2021, from 8-12 for voting.

 

ALL TEMPORARY SIGNS SHALL BE REMOVED WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER THE OCCURRING EVENT (April 16th)

 

An absentee ballot is a vote cast by someone who is unable or unwilling to attend the official polling station to which the voter is normally allocated. (Wikipedia)

The General Election will be held June 8, 2021.
