Today, Memorial Day, I had not only our soldiers on my mind, but many of our “fighters” in or connected to Simpson County….people who are fighting an illness, loss of a loved one, or just fighting to keep on keeping on.
Please remember these special people in your prayers: Kay Arnold, Karen Moore’s dad, family of Gloria Stubbs, Linda Parish, Leona McAlpin, Nan Craven, Bardell Meadows, Paul and Joyce Walker, Lewis and Bernadine Mashburn, Helen Coggins, Ted Allen, Mrs. Jean Beatty, Pam Walley, Paula Meadows, Lucy Davis (daughter of Stuart and Niki Neely Davis) of Oxford, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Shows, Troy Hudspeth, Allen Stephens, Chet Cox (husband of Beth Herring Cox formerly of Magee), Christina McArthur (daughter-in-law of Marc McArthur), The Bishop family, Dwyane Burch (father of Tiffany Burch Hickman), the Hazel Jones family, our sweet precious Jan Fairchild (in Methodist Rehab Room 407), Father Bob Goodyear (former Priest at St Stephen’s Catholic Church in Magee), the family of Charles Jackson, the family of Dot Logan….Please send your prayer request…I want to join our prayer warriors together to pray for our people …there is so much power in prayer. Let’s all stand together.
