Simpson County Supervisors met Monday, December 7, 2020 for their regular scheduled meeting.

John Kilpatrick, EMS, met before the board and discussed changes to permit prices for towers. The board approved to raise the cost of permits for communication towers to $5000.00. The board approved increasing the coast of a 911 address to $100.00 and permits for individuals building in a flood zone to $250.00.

Due to lack of participation and not having a quorum several times, the board approve to abolish the current 911 board and let the supervisors become the governing board for the 911. Killpatrick will report all needs directly to the Board of Supervisors.
