Tuesday November 24, 2015 between the girls and boys varsity game Coach James Crain was recognized before a standing crowd for winning 900 games!
Crain was presented with a game ball noting his 900 wins.
Coach Crain is a Deacon at First Baptist Church, Mendenhall, MS where he is a Sunday School Teacher and oversees the Upward Basketball program for the church.
Crain is a teacher and coach at Simpson and is sponsor of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
While at Simpson, he has won 150 games and has led his team to three state championships (winning two of the three).
Career wise Coach Crain has 900 wins, 287 losses, 7 state championships, and five time runner up to state.
