Frances H. Welch, 83, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020. She was born Sunday, March 8, 1936.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. The Burial will follow in Welch Cemetery. Bro. Earl Clark will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

Ms. Welch retired from AT&T in 1995 completing thirty-eight years of active service with the company. Frances enjoyed her Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Mendenhall and spending time with family and friends. During her quiet time, she enjoyed reading and listening to good gospel music.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Henry Welch; parents, Frank and Bertha High; sister, Marie Mitchell.

Survivors include her son, Danny Welch (Darla); grandchildren, Taylor Rega (Augustin), Hayden Welch, Parker Welch, Brenden Wieburg, and Brooks Wieburg; sister, Annie Mitchell; a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Mitchell, Hayden Welch, Brooks Wieburg, Brandon Mitchell, Larry Mitchell, and Phil Puckett
