Magee High School had 6 seniors to sign to further their academic and athletic careers.

Five Football players and one Cheerleader signed on National Signing Day. The following students were present for a signing presentation along with their friends and family. James Floyd – Football (Millsaps), Alyssa Payne – Cheer  (Pearl River), Jody Durr – Football  (Hinds), Jamaal Dinkins – Football (Co-Lin), Jameyian Spencer – Football (Co-Lin), and Jaylen Hicks  – Football (Co-Lin).

Derrick Hicks

Derrick Hicks will attend Copiah Lincoln Community College.  He is pictured with his parents Robert and Joyce Hicks and family.

Jameyian Spencer

Magee had one more player, LaShanta Payne , in January who signed to play basketball with Copiah Lincoln Community college.

Jamaal Dinkins

Jamaal Dinkins will play ball with Copiah Lincoln Community College. Jamaal is pictured with his family: Felicia and Bruce Daniles, Caitlin Dinkins, Chris Dinkins Jamaal Dinkins Dr. and Argie Daniels.

Jody Durr

Jody Durr will extended his athletic career with Hinds Community college. Pictured with him is family Emilia Traxler, Lois Traxler, Boston Traxler, Aysia Traxler, Bryson Traxler, Darmilia Durr, Latisha Hayes, Michael Lee, Michael Simmon Jr. Famous Traxler, Brylei Traxler, and Neylan Traxler.

James Floyd

James Floyd will further his athletic and academic career at Millsaps College. Pictured with James is his  parents  Lekesha  and  James  Floyd  Sr.  Sister-  Jakyra  Floyd  and brother Jamarious  Floyd.

Alyssa PayneAlyssa Payne signed to cheer for Pearl River Community College. Pictured with Payne is her Cheer Coach Lindsey Purdum and family; Deidra Floyd, Gerald Payne, Justin Floyd, Tiana Payne, Tamara Nixon, Deborah Payne, Woodrow Payne, Vivian Smith, and Nick Floyd.

Magee signed another senior player in late January to play basketball at Copiah Lincoln Community College. LaShante Payne will be joining the Wolfpack on a basketball scholarship.
