William Fred Perry
(September 10, 1951 – February 23, 2023)

William Fred Perry, 71 of Magee, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born on Monday, September 10, 1951, in Tutwiler, Mississippi.

Mr. William was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.  He enjoyed working on heavy equipment, fishing and deer hunting, playing with his dogs, and most of all spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Howard Perry, Sr.; mother, Ruth Haxall Perry; and granddaughter, Briana Tanner.

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty years, Brenda Jordan Perry of Magee, MS; two children  Angela Michelle Perry Tanner (Joe) of Mendenhall, MS, and William Steven Perry of Magee, MS;  one granddaughter, Cyntheia Dru Tanner (Marcus Spencer) of Mendenhall, MS; five brothers, Joe Lee Perry (Leslie) of Hot Coffee, MS, James Allen Perry (Dale Skeen) of Carthage, MS, George Perry (Sherril) of Mendenhall, MS, Randy Paul Perry (Lynn) of Mize, MS and James Howard Perry, Jr. (Aleatha) of Ripley, MS; two sisters, Rose Perry Johnson of Magee, MS and Linda Roberts (Phil) of Greenwood, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Bro. Gary Roberts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
