Friday night-lights are not the only time for local football. The Simpson County Falcons started their season this Saturday at Magee High School Football Field. The Falcons consist of several different age groups of kids from the county and surrounding area.
Heat and humidity would play a major factor in the days events.
Age groups range from 5-12 and teams are divided into brackets midget, pee wees, and rookies.
This is a great learning experience for the youth as they develop skills that will be used throughout high school years. This also serves as an opportunity to play in a stadium environment at a young age.
