Simpson County Sheriff Department Press Release
On February 4, 2022 at approximately 06:50 PM, the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office responded to 155 Hayes Gray Road in reference to a shooting. Upon deputies’ arrival, they discovered one adult male and one juvenile male were struck by a single shotgun blast. Witnesses on scene could not identify or provide a description of the shooter.
Both victims were transported by ambulance to local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
