Taylor Lane McGuire, 26 of Magee, MS passed away far too soon on Monday, May 18, 2026. He was born on April 3, 2000.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Corinth Baptist Church in Magee, MS. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday May 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Corinth Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mount Olive City Cemetery in Mount Olive, MS. Bro. Jay Westbrooks and John Hux will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031.
Taylor was a man with a big heart who loved deeply and lived fully. He never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone in need. His kindness, loyalty, and generous spirit touched the lives of so many, and he leaves behind memories that will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
Taylor loved the Lord and carried his faith with him throughout his life. His love for God was reflected in the way he treated others, with compassion, generosity, and a willingness to help anyone who needed him.
Taylor was an outdoorsman through and through. He loved hunting with his dogs, spending time fishing, and being outside whenever he could. His dogs were more than companions; they were family, and he cared for them with endless love and devotion. Above all else, Taylor loved his family fiercely and treasured every moment spent with them.
He graduated from Magee High School with the Class of 2018 and continued his education at Millsaps College, where he proudly played football. Taylor later attended HVAC School at Jones Junior College and after built a career working in HVAC and refrigeration, earned the respect of those around him through his hard work and dedication.
Taylor loved hard, laughed big, and gave all he had to the people he cared about. Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made on the lives around him will never fade.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Elaine McGuire; and maternal grandparents, Thomas and Sylvia Flynt.
He is survived by his wife, Annalise; father, Jerry; mother, Bethany; brother, Logan; uncle, Tommy Flynt; and a host of cousins and other family.
Pallbearers will be Travis Wood, Peyton Eubanks, Trey Eubanks, Heath Walters, Jestin Smith, Jason Chain, and Alex Sanderford.
