The spirit of the Trojans was alive and well as the Magee High School Class of 1966 gathered at Jose’s to celebrate an incredible milestone—60 years since graduation.
Laughter, memories, and stories filled the room as classmates reconnected, proving that while time may pass, true friendships only grow stronger. The Class of 1966 holds a special place in Magee High School history, as they were the first graduating class to reach 100 students—a record at the time and a moment of pride for the school.
Over the past six decades, life has taken these classmates in many different directions, but the bond they share remains unbroken. The group paused to remember those who are no longer with them, honoring the 35 classmates who have passed away. Their presence was felt in the stories shared and the memories that continue to live on.
Being a Trojan was more than just a mascot—it was a connection, a foundation, and a lifelong identity.
As voices joined together once again, the familiar words of the alma mater rang true:
“We’ll shout and sing, with heads up high, for dear old MHS.”
Sixty years later, that pride still stands tall.
