Chase Courtney: Like I say all the time, I never want to apologize for a win, because they are so hard to come by, especially in this district. It was good to start off 1-0 in the toughest district in 3A football. I didn’t like how we came out offensively. We had a couple of penalties in the first half that killed drives. We were a little out of sync in the passing game. I would like to see us run the ball with a little more physicality in those situations and didn’t feel like we did that. Defensively, we were very good at not giving up explosive plays. Because the defense was so consistent, we eventually found our rhythm offensively.
