Mendenhall High School is calling on students, parents, alumni, local businesses, churches, civic organizations, and community members to come together for Campus Pride Day on Friday, July 17, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The annual event is an opportunity for the community to work side-by-side in preparing the campus for the start of another exciting school year. Volunteers will spend the morning tackling a variety of beautification and improvement projects, including landscaping, painting, deep cleaning, organizing, and other projects designed to give the campus a fresh, welcoming appearance before students return to class.
Students who volunteer will earn valuable community service hours while helping make a difference at their school. In addition, members of the Class of 2027 will have the opportunity to paint their senior parking spaces during the event. (Students planning to paint their spaces should bring their own paint and supplies.)
Campus Pride Day is more than a cleanup—it is a chance for the entire Mendenhall community to invest in its school and show Tiger pride. School officials encourage businesses, churches, civic clubs, and organizations to get involved by forming volunteer teams or contributing supplies, tools, food, drinks, or other materials to help support the day’s projects.
Whether you can lend a helping hand for an hour or stay the entire morning, every volunteer and every donation will make a difference. Together, the community can help ensure Mendenhall High School is looking its very best as students and faculty begin a new school year.
Mark your calendar, invite a friend, and come be a part of Campus Pride Day as the Mendenhall community works together to make a lasting impact.
