WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College continues to see strong enrollment growth, with Fall 2026 enrollment reaching 3,102 students across the college’s three campuses. This represents a 2.8% increase over Fall 2025, when Co-Lin surpassed 3,000 students for the first time since 2019.

The latest numbers continue a steady upward trend in enrollment at Co-Lin. Since Spring 2023, enrollment has increased from  2,875 students to 3,102 students, a 7.9% increase in just over three years.

“We are extremely proud to see enrollment continue to grow at Co-Lin,” said Co-Lin President Dr. Dewayne Middleton. “Each student who chooses Co-Lin is placing their trust in us to help them reach their goals, and we are honored to be a part of their journey. This continued growth is a reflection of the hard work of our faculty and staff and our commitment to providing students with an outstanding education and experience.”

Due to enrollment increases, demand for student housing remains strong at Co-Lin, with residence halls reaching capacity each semester and a lengthy waiting list for available space. As more students choose to live on campus, Co-Lin continues to prioritize improvements that enhance the student experience and campus life.

“Seeing enrollment grow year after year is exciting for everyone at Co-Lin,” Middleton said. “It means more students are choosing to begin their college journey with us or coming back for a career change or maybe even to finish a degree they started in years past. We are grateful for the confidence students and their families place in Co-Lin, and we look forward to building on this momentum.”

Known as The Place To Be, Co-Lin serves students throughout southwest and central Mississippi through a wide range of academic, career-technical, workforce and adult education programs. With three campuses and online learning opportunities, the college provides students with flexible and affordable options to pursue their educational and career goals.
