The district had  14 staff members and 35 students to test positive this week. In order to ensure the safety of the staff and student body,  8 staff members and  171
students were quarantined.
Mendenhall Elementary, Mendenhall Jr. High, Mendenhall High and Magee Elementary students returned to campus Monday, January 24, 2022. Magee Middle students returned to campus Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
There has been a decrease in the number of students testing positive compared to the number of students testing positive before schools were placed on virtual learning. We hope to see this number continue to decrease over the next few weeks.
The nursing staff at each school will continue to work diligently to ensure all protocols and procedures are being followed as students return from virtual learning.
We will continue to monitor and keep you updated on our progress.
Thank you,
Judith Jones, RN, BSN
